    In the event of rain, please stay up-to-date with field closures by calling the City of Brea Mudline at 714-671-4437.  The Mudline covers all Brea school practice fields and game fields including Country Hills, Arovista, Brea Junior High and Sports Park locations.  If your team is playing in Fullerton your game may be played as scheduled.  Please stay tuned to this website, and check your emails for any updates.  Our Facebook page will also be updated so if you haven't 'liked' us yet, click below to follow us.

    NEW BAT RULES FOR 2013

    EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY AND UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

    The BBCOR decertification process has been implemented on the following bat(s):
    Reebok Vector TLS 32-inch model
    Reebok Vector TLS 33-inch model
    Marucci CAT5 33-inch model
    Marucci CAT5 34-inch model
    Marucci Black 33-inch model
    Marucci Black 34-inch model
    Nike – CX2-BT0636 (light grey)
    Nike – CX2-BTO573 (dark grey)
    Nike – CX2-BTO598 (blue)
    The BPF decertification process has been implemented on the following bat(s):
    Louisville Slugger (Hillerich & Bradsby) TPX Dynasty - 12 bat (Model - YB12D - black/red/grey)

    Mattingly Balistk (Model: BTKYB) Blue

    These bats should be considered a non-compliant bat in accordance with

    PONY Rule: 8-C (3) and subject to PONY Rule 18-E (6).
    They are ILLEGAL!


     NEW BAT RULES IMPLEMENTED IN 2012

    Pony baseball has implemented the following Bat Rules for the 2012 season:
     
    No two and three quarter inch (2-3/4") diameter bats are allowed at any level of play. 

    Two and five-eighth inch (2-5/8") diameter bats that weigh minus 3 (-3) bats must have the BBCOR .50 stamp on them are legal, as long as they are designed for baseball use. 
    Two and five-eighth inch (2-5/8") diameter bats that weigh minus 4 (-4) through minus 13 (-13) bats are legal as long as they do not exceed 42 inches in length and as long as they are designed for baseball use. 
    Two and one-half (2-1/2") diameter bats must have a BPF of 1.15 or less stamped on them and they must also have the Approved for PONY Baseball stamped on them as well. 
    T-ball bat are only allowed when hitting off a tee and using a safety ball. (Not allowed when a coach or pitching machine delivers the pitch) 
    Coach-pitch bats are allowed in coach pitch divisions when using a safety ball. (Not allowed when hitting off a tee or when a pitching machine delivers the pitch
